This sounds a bit bizarre ...
Well, meet Ms. Jacqueline Algane

Jacqueline Algane is a skeptical person. She doesn't buy the algae-will-fix-the-world story. She is also Anne-Gaelle's imaginary team-mate, and here she shares her discoveries about algae.

This is how it started ...
La Route des Algonautes

Hi, I'm Anne-Gaëlle. In 2010, after a few years spent researching algae, I started a journey around the world, called the "Route des Algonautes" to talk to people working with algae. More than 150 such interviews later, the process is not over and it needs to go further for sharing the many virtues of algae.

In 2016, www.algonauts.org was born to share this knowledge over the web. It's a place where we explore the latest developments in sustainability and algae in an on-going fashion. Stay tuned to discover if algae really are the future.

By the way, what are Algae?

Algae are the invisible heroes of our daily life. From making the air we breathe to the food we eat, they are in your grandma's toothpaste, in your friends' clothes, in your ice cream, even in the cat's food. They are everywhere around us in our environment and economy.

Do you know they could help us transform our pollution into new resources? Or that they can play a role in combating malnourishment, climate change or poverty? Paper, plastic, medicines, energy ... That's just a glimpse, let's dive in the algae world.
